- Loose Components: Safely remove and store loose pieces in a plastic bag to bring to your appointment.
- Poking Braces: Apply soft wax to protruding parts.
- Shifted Wire: Gently adjust with needle-nosed pliers, or apply wax for comfort.
General Discomfort:
- Soreness from Braces: Manage initial soreness with soft foods and warm saltwater rinses.
- Irritation from Braces: Use dental wax on irritated areas as your mouth adapts.
- Headgear Issues: Wear as directed and contact us for discomfort or misfit.
Appliance Issues:
- Loose Appliance: Apply wax to secure until your visit.
- Loose Bracket or Wire: Cover with wax and bring any detached parts to your appointment.
- Poking Wire: Adjust with a pencil eraser or cover with wax.
